Sesame Asparagus Recipe


This is a deliciously healthy vegetable side.


Ingredients:

3 Tbsp. Low Sodium Soy Sauce

1/4 Cup Rice Vinegar

2 medium Garlic Cloves, crushed

2 tsp. Sesame Oil, dark

1 lb. Fresh Asparagus

1/4 Cup Water

1 pinch Sesame Seeds (optional)


Directions:

In a bowl, whisk the soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and sesame oil.


Cut the ends off the asparagus, and place them in a 11x7” baking dish.  Pour the water over the asparagus and microwave on high for 3 minutes.  Take out the asparagus, and put in a serving bowl with the soy sauce mixture.


Cover and refrigerate for an hour.  Garnish with sesame seeds.
