Hummus Recipe


This is such a tasty and healthy dip; serve with practically anything, especially pita bread.


Ingredients:

1 (15 oz.) can Garbanzo Beans, drained and rinsed

1/2 Cup Warm Water

1 Tbsp. Peanut Butter (reduced fat)

1/3 Cup Lemon Juice

1/2 tsp. Ground Cumin

2 Garlic Cloves, minced

1/2 tsp. Salt

1 tsp. Sesame Seed Oil

1/4 Cup Parsley, finely minced

1 Tbsp. Ground Paprika for garnish


Directions:

Add the garbanzo beans, water, peanut butter, lemon juice, cumin, garlic, and salt, and blend in a food processor until it’s pureed.


Move the mixture to a bowl, and add the sesame seed oil and parsley.  Keep in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving.
